Homemade Burger

Ingredients

  • Mince Meat, £3.23 (850g)
  • Onions, £0.85 (pack of 4) – 1/2 an onion per person
  • Potatoes (optional Sweet Potato), £0.60 p/kg
  • Bread Roll, £0.65 (pack of 6)
  • Sweet Chilli Dip (optional) £1.00
  • Side Salad, £0.75 p/215g
  • Cheese, £2.00 p/350g
  • Oil

Burger

Slice the onion up into small pieces and place in a bowl.
Break up desired amount of mince meat and place in the bowl.
Mix the Meat and Onions together until all combined.
Take out handfuls of the mince and pat into a burger shape.
Place on a baking tray and cook at 200 degrees for around 20 minutes or until cooked throughout.

Chips

Slice up one potato per person into thin, chip shaped strips.
Place them on a baking tray and drizzle with oil.
Make sure all chips are coated with the oil.
Add optional seasoning if wanted.
Place in the oven at 200 degrees for around 20 minutes or until cooked and crispy.

Once both the burger and chips are cooked remove from oven.
Serve burger in a bun, with cheese and chilli sauce along with a side salad.
